Advanced Understanding Your Data

09/24/08 1-5pm

Learn more about how your data is stored in Colleague and explore computed columns, multi-valued, and associated fields. Learn techniques to query data within these unique fields. Be aware of other tools you can use to manipulate data such as list algebra and save list creation.

Communications Management 101

10/22/08 1-5pm and 10/23/08 1-5pm (Two Day Class-Must Attend Both Days)

Learn how to automatically assign appropriate outgoing communications and track the receipt of all incoming items using Communications Management. This module provides an interface with Microsoft Word for document design, merging, and printing controls, as well as email functionality and the tools to update records individually, in groups, or automatically as documents are sent and received.

11/05/08 1-5pm and 11/06/08 1-5pm (Two Day Class-Must Attend Both Days)

Take your learning one step further by designing a simple communication flow. Learn more about creating merge documents and emails and what files and fields that can be used. Gain a basic understanding of how rules interact with Communications Management and what information you need to know to effectively use rules.
