| Information Technology Student Email SystemThe username format for logging into the computer system, including your student e-mail, is the first seven letters of your last name, first seven letters of your first name, and your middle initial (771)@stu.jccmi.edu. Example: If your name were John C Chips, you're username would be: chipsjohnc@stu.jccmi.edu. Your initial password for your e-mail will be in the standard JCC format. Important Information about JCC Student E-mailThe JCC Student E-mail system is now on Outlook Web Access (OWA). Information on how to use OWA is available in the computer labs and in electronic form in OWA. Click on the How to Use folder in OWA. JCC Student E-mail is an internal emailing system. This means JCC students can only send and receive messages from other JCC. Student E-mail addresses and JCC Employee E-mail addresses. Students cannot receive e-mail messages from any other external e-mail address, such as @hotmail.com. Please be aware that this includes Online Classes e-mail @classes.jccmi.edu. JCC Student E-mail accounts are created one business day after course registration. The account is disabled 110 calendar days after the student's last registered course. Individual student mailbox size is 5MB, if this size limit is reached the student will still be able to receive messages but will not be able to send messages until the mailbox is below 5MB. Students can send messages to 30 recipients at one time. Messages are limited to 100k in size. E-mail message attachments are limited to 1MB in size. Student messages older than 30 calendar days will expire and be deleted from the system. |
