Microsoft Campus Agreement
The Microsoft Campus Agreement (MCA) allows Jackson
Community College (JCC) the opportunity to make available many of the popular
Microsoft products to all JCC employees.
Jackson Community College is extending to you the right to use the software for
work-related purposes at home.
The initial launch date for the Microsoft Campus Agreement was December 1st,
2003.
The JCC MCA contract lasts for one year. It starts December 1st and goes until
November 30th of the following year. The MCA has been renewed for 2007-2008.
Software Overview
MCA work-at-home software includes:
- Microsoft Windows Vista
- Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise
- Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2007
Checking out the Software
These are the steps to check out MCA software:
- Review the Microsoft Campus Agreement contract.
- Visit the Library in William Atkinson Hall. The software CD(s) are available there for check out.
- Read, initial, and sign the Microsoft Campus Agreement.
- Check out the software CD(s) with your Rosebud library card.

Unfortunately, Information Technology is not able to
support
work-at-home software. The MCA doesn't cover technical support from Microsoft

Additional Information
Microsoft End-User License AgreementDue to support issues, Information Technology requests faculty and staff not to install work-at-home software on JCC equipment. If MCA software is installed on a JCC computer, the computer will be reloaded with the currently supported standard load.
