Outstanding student employees are nominated by various department personnel, and judged by committee according to their reliability, quality of work, initiative, professionalism, and uniqueness of their contribution. "Misty Bouvier is a wonderful student worker. "However, Misty is exceptional among all of our student workers because of her commitment, thoughtful problem solving, knowledge about the LLA department, and her dedication to helping all students, staff and faculty in Walker Hall. Furthermore, her conduct is always both professional and courteous." Joining Young in nominating Bouvier were: LLA Department Chair Kris Shirk, assistant professor; Martha Petry, professor; and Mary Belknap, professor. Bouvier is currently studying nursing at JCC.
