Front Porch Concert Series planned at JCC           

            The Jackson Community Concert Band and Jackson Jazz Ensemble will again present the Front Porch Concert Series this summer.  Dates include:

  • June 16 - Jazz Night

  • June 23 - Summer Band Camp Finale

  • June 26 - Trombone Fest

  • June 28 - Pre-Fourth of July concert

      Concerts will begin at 7 p.m. outside the Potter Center on JCC's main campus, with barbecue dinner available half an hour beforehand, at a cost of $6.  The Front Porch Series allows the community to enjoy great music in a comfortable, outdoors setting.  These concerts are fun, free, accessible and guaranteed - activities will move indoors in case of inclement weather.  Persons wishing to pre-arrange seating may call ahead at (517) 796-8559; otherwise, audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
