From clock tower bells to concert band,

evening of celebration planned for the community

5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, Potter Center

           

Enjoy a community celebration, barbecue dinner and concert when Jackson Community College dedicates the new Glen and Phyllis Clock Tower on Tuesday, June 28.

 Bring the family, your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner, spirited patriotic music and back stage tours of the George E. Potter Center.  Schedule for the community celebration will be:

  • 5:30 p.m.    Barbecue Dinner - only $5 (Potter Center main entrance)

  • 6:15 p.m.    Backstage Glimpse - Theater Tour (meet at main entrance)

  • 6:45 p.m.    Clock Tower Dedication and Carillon Music Demonstration (Clock Tower)

  • 7 p.m.         Community Concert Band Pre-Fourth of July Performance

Program for the Jackson Community Concert Band will include a number of patriotic and other concert favorites, under the direction of Ronald L. Douglass:
