JCC jazz dancers to perform original pieces
Jackson Community College Jazz Technique students will perform 11 pieces, choreographed during this semester's dance class, this Sunday, April 30, at 3 p.m. in the Baughman Theatre. There is no admission charge.
Duets, solos, small groups and ensemble works display jazz dance at its eclectic best. A diverse array of music is used -- ranging from the calm lyricism of Enya and Deep Forest to the music of contemporary groups Weezy, Shakira, Jamiroquai, Rihanna and My Chemical Romance.
