5/11/06 For immediate release Wireless computer networking topic of classDo you understand your wireless computer network? Ever thought about setting up a wireless network in your home? A new class at Jackson Community College may help you get started. JCC will offer a new pilot class this Spring semester on Wireless Local Area Networking. Instructor Larry Choate said he hopes this will be the first in a series of “hot topics” in computing courses the college will offer. It will be geared toward homeowners and small business owners who know something about computers, but would like experience with wireless networking. Wireless Local Area Networking will be two billing contact hours, and there will be a $100 technology fee. Other fees will apply.
