JCC to offer courses that begin after Labor Day
For parents whose children don't go back to school until after Labor Day, Jackson Community College has scheduled a number of college classes to begin after that time. JCC's Fall semester begins Aug. 21, but many classes are slated to begin "Session II" after Labor Day.
"JCC has many students who have children at home. We want to make it easier for them to take Fall classes, as well as any students who may be vacationing around Labor Day or still working summer jobs," said Charlotte Finnegan, dean of student services and foundation studies.
