New computer skills workshops planned for JCC alumni

Jackson Community College’s Office of Alumni Relations will host a series of workshops for JCC alumni to brush up on their computer skills, learn new techniques and the latest information! The first workshop will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 in Justin Whiting Hall Room 104.

This first workshop will explain photo media and help attendees get to know how to use their digital camera and camera phone downloads. It will be run by staff and student workers who are knowledgeable in using the personal computer and software. This session will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, and individual help will be available for attendees from noon to 1 p.m.

This workshop is open to any JCC alumni, which includes anyone who has ever taken a class at the College. Please call to reserve your spot on the workshop, as space is limited. Call Ann Tompkins or Kathy Spring at the Office of Alumni Relations, 517.787.0244.
