Motivational leadership speaker Richard Leider offers help on finding balance

Do you ever feel weighed down or overwhelmed by your responsibilities?  Would you like help finding ways to better manage today’s changes and busyness and find energy and fulfillment?

Jackson Community College is partnering with Baker College and Spring Arbor University to present an inspirational and powerful speaker series, “Aspire Higher.” The first speaker in this series will be Richard Leider, nationally known life coach, who will speak at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4 in the Baughman Theatre of Potter Center.

Leider is ranked by Forbes as one of the “Top 5” most respected coaches in America and is a bestselling author with more than 30 years experience in coaching people to live and work on purpose.  He will present “Repacking Your Bags… Living on Purpose, Leading on Purpose,” designed to help people find balance in their lives amidst the demands of work, family and personal life, and create their own vision of success.  As a result of this presentation, you will be able to lighten and balance your load; develop your vision of success and the good life; and create meaningful dialogues with colleagues, family and friends around repacking issues.

Leider is founder and chairman of The Inventure Group, a coaching and consulting firm that helps people discover the power of purpose.  He has worked with many leading organizations such as 3M, Boeing, Caterpillar, Ameriprise Financial, Pfizer, the American Leadership Forum and Habitat for Humanity.  He is the author of seven books, including three bestsellers, and his work has been translated into 17 languages. 

Tickets for this event are $25 for adults and $10 for students and can be purchased at the JCC Box Office at 517.796.8600.  There will be a book signing following the presentation in the theatre lobby.   Agape Bookstore will have copies of his book available for sale.
