JCC marketing honored by NCMPR
Jackson Community College’s marketing and communications department was honored recently with eight awards from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations District 3 Medallions Competition.
The Medallion Awards recognize outstanding achievement in marketing and communications at community, junior and technical colleges. Medallions for Gold, Silver and Bronze places were presented in a variety of categories recently at the district conference in Cincinnati, Ohio. JCC staff members received the following honors:
· Banners and Outdoor Media, Gold Medallion for “Serious Possibilities” billboard series
· Feature Article/General News Story, Gold Medallion for “Educating today’s students: Multimedia journeys in education,” published in JCC Today alumni magazine.
· Newsletter, Silver Medallion for News from Jackson Community College
· Specialty Advertising, Silver Medallion for JCC-imprinted flash drive
· Innovation in Technology, Silver Medallion for Campus View student housing online virtual tour
· Logo Design, Bronze Medallion for JCC Jets logo
· Magazine, Bronze Medallion for JCC Today alumni magazine
· Brochure/Flyer in three or more ink colors, Bronze Medallion for “Why Choose a Community College” brochure

NCMPR is an affiliate council of the American Association of Community Colleges. District 3 consists of colleges from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and Ontario.
