Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy comes to life at JCC's Potter Center Dec. 18
Dreams come true… in a magical jungle of vivid color and non-stop acrobatic action when Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy unleashes an all-new soaring adventure – part of a mammoth cross-country U.S. tour – coming to Jackson Community College’s Potter Center on Tuesday, Dec. 18 for one performance only.
Produced by Cirque Productions and Artistic Director Neil Goldberg, Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy is a nonstop, action-packed two-hour adventure presented in two acts that stretches the imagination beyond the realm of possibilities and brings seemingly impossible feats to theatre and the stage. Accompanied by an original score and unique musicians, an international cast of graceful aerialists, spine-bending contortionists and vine-swinging characters make this jungle fantasy a dream to remember.
“Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy remains true to my original Cirque Dreams vision which began in 1993 – to present world class variety entertainment blended with European circus artistry and Broadway Theatrics,” Goldberg said.
Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy is set in an enchanted forest that quickly turns into a Technicolor dream on stage and in the air by presenting some of the most striking visual and special effects right before your very eyes. This is the latest reinvention of theatrical circus artistry from Goldberg’s Cirque Productions, creators of international performance and touring sensations Cirque Ingenieux, Cirque Dreams Coobrila and Cirque Dreams Illumination.
Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy will take the stage at 7 p.m. Dec. 18 in the Harold Sheffer Music Hall, Potter Center. Tickets start at $22 and may be purchased by calling the Potter Center Box Office at 517.796.8600, or online at www.jccmi.edu under “Visitors” and “Events.”
