The national tour of “Cats” recently celebrated its 25th anniversary season.
“Cats” first appeared on the London stage in 1981, and in 1982, it opened in New York City. On June 19, 1997, “Cats” became the longest running musical on Broadway. It ended its 18-year run in September of 2000.
