Catch up with old friends and visit campus with Alumni Week 2008
Jackson Community College will present Alumni Week in November with three opportunities for alumni to visit the campus and catch up with former classmates!
Saturday, Nov. 8 – Alumni are invited to enjoy the performance of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” finalists with a pre-performance wine, cheese and chocolate tasting. The reception begins at 6:45 p.m. on the third floor mezzanine area outside the Harold Sheffer Music Hall in the Potter Center, and continues till 8 p.m. Seating for “Last Comic Standing” begins at 7:30 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets for the show and the tasting are $35; attend the tasting only for $10. Wines and cheeses will be provided by Cork-n-Cap.
Monday, Nov. 10 – Join fellow alumni for a Jets Tailgate Party from 6:30-8 p.m. in Campus View student housing. Enjoy a fajita bar, meet student athletes and catch up with friends in between the women’s 5:30 p.m. basketball game against Davenport University and the men’s 7:30 p.m. basketball game against Siena Heights University. Cost is $5 per person.
Friday, Nov. 14 – Dance the night away with a first-ever All Alumni Class Reunion, featuring the band Global Village, at 6:30 p.m. in the Snyder Dining Room, Potter Center. Food and drink provided throughout the evening as you catch up with old friends, look at scrapbooks, and enjoy great entertainment. Cost is $25 per person.
