Financial aid information night offered

Looking for money for college? Learn more about financial aid options and how to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) when JCC hosts a workshop Feb. 18 on the Jackson campus.

This will be a hands-on workshop for students that will run from 6-8 p.m. in Room 120, William Atkinson Hall. Participants should bring their completed 2007 federal tax returns, and dependent students should bring their parents’ federal tax return. Students will also need to bring driver’s license, Social Security number, and proof of any untaxed income. It will also help if students (and a parent if dependent) apply for a PIN beforehand at www.pin.ed.gov.  The PIN serves as an electronic signature and provides access to personal records. 

JCC will also host financial aid workshops in Hillsdale and Lenawee counties: 

·                    Hillsdale LeTarte Center, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Feb. 15

·                    JCC @ VO-TECH, 6-8 p.m. Feb. 20
