JCC Jets teams sign players for 2008-09

Jackson Community College welcomed players for both baseball and volleyball at signing ceremonies Thursday and Friday.

Signing on for the 2009 Jets men’s baseball team are Lee Finley, graduate of Jackson High School and first baseman; Troy Hill of Tecumseh, a catcher and outfielder; Corey Cannon of Blissfield, a pitcher; Jeremy Dunford of L’Anse Creuse H.S. in Macomb Township, a catcher; and Eric Turk of Oxford, a catcher and outfielder.

Signing on to the 2008-09 women’s volleyball team is Ashley Nugent, who will transfer from Ferris State University. Nugent plays outside and right side.
