Golden Jets Hockey to Play Pre-Season Match with EMU
6-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, Optimist Ice Arena
Jackson Community College Golden Jets hockey will take to the ice for some pre-season hockey action this Saturday, Sept. 25, against the Eastern Michigan University Eagles at the Optimist Ice Arena, Jackson.
This special pre-season game will be free and open to the public. "We want to give the local community a chance to see some great hockey with a team like EMU in town. There will be plenty of hockey action in Jackson this year for people to enjoy, even if the Red Wings don't play," said General Manager Dale Smith.
The Golden Jets will begin their regular season next Friday, Oct. 1, at 8:30 p.m. against Muskegon Community College at the Optimist Ice Arena.
