O'Chemistry 2004:  It's a Gas!

11 a.m. Saturday, December 11, McDivitt Hall, Room 218

Take the kids to see a free demonstration "It's a Gas," as Jackson Community College presents the second annual "O' Chemistry" science event on Saturday, December 11 in McDivitt Hall, Room 218.

JCC chemistry professors Mark Ott, John Singer and Sharon Mackellar will present a fun and informative look at chemistry geared for young people and families.  "We're trying to get young people interested in science, give them a chance to see the cool things you can do," Ott said.  "This year's show centers around gases, what can be done with them, colors that can be made, and explosions that can occur."

Young minds will ooh and ahh to a variety of chemistry experiments explained in a simple way.  This will be a free demonstration, but seating is limited so people are advised to come early.  Any questions, please call (517) 796-8574.
