College life in 2005: JCC to bury time capsule, seeks letters
Jackson Community College will host a communitywide celebration to dedicate the new Glen and Phyllis Walker Memorial Clock Tower on campus Tuesday, June 28. Part of the celebration will include the burial of a time capsule, to be opened on the College's 150th anniversary. The College committee would like to include four letters from JCC students and alumni describing life as a college student. Letters from current or past faculty and staff are also welcome describing your experience with JCC. A contest will be held to welcome entries, and a time capsule committee will review all entries and select winners. Winners will receive T-shirts. Please submit entries of 750 words or less by June 10 to Marilynn Fryer, JCC Marketing Office, 223 Bert Walker Hall, Jackson Community College, 2111 Emmons Road, Jackson, 49201, or e-mail to FryerMarilynT@jccmi.edu. Please be sure to include your name, address, phone number, year and program or your relationship to JCC. -30- |
