JCC marketing honored at regional conferenceOctober 19th, 2006 Jackson Community College’s marketing and communications department was honored recently with 12 awards from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations District 3 Medallions Competition. John Tesh to perform at Potter Center Oct. 21October 11th, 2006 The Potter Center at Jackson Community College will welcome recording artist and radio host John Tesh for one show only, at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, in the Harold Sheffer Music Hall. A special pre-show dinner will be available. Lunch Around the World planned, Peace Pole to be dedicatedOctober 5th, 2006 Sample some international fare and join in the dedication of a new Peace Pole when Jackson Community College hosts a special Lunch Around the World, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12 in Federer Rooms A & B, Potter Center. The Peace Pole dedication will be held at 12:30 p.m. in the courtyard. New computer skills workshops planned for JCC alumniOctober 5th, 2006 Jackson Community College’s Office of Alumni Relations will host a series of workshops for JCC alumni to brush up on their computer skills, learn new techniques and the latest information! Frankie Avalon opens 2006-07 season at Potter CenterOctober 5th, 2006 Jackson Community College welcomes legendary performer Frankie Avalon to the Potter Center stage at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15. Frankie Avalon is remembered as one of the first teen idols of the 1950s and early 1960s, and his career continues today, spanning three generations of music, television and motion pictures. ‘Little Mary Sunshine’ brightens Potter Center stageOctober 5th, 2006 Take a trip back in time when the world was much simpler as Jackson Community College presents “Little Mary Sunshine,” a musical, the last two weekends in October in Baughman Theatre, Potter Center. 2006: December | November | October | September | August
