Poetry Night planned at Nomad Bookhouse
Jackson Community College’s monthly Poetry Nights at the Nomad Bookhouse continue at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 29.
This month’s event will feature Heather Harrison, a poet from Brighton and former adjunct writing instructor for JCC, and Tim Lane, poet, writer and visual artist from Lansing. In addition, there will be a semi-open microphone beforehand featuring creative writing students from JCC.
Poetry nights are hosted by JCC instructor John Yohe, who teaches composition and creative writing. The Nomad Bookhouse is located at 229 S. Mechanic St., Jackson.
