April 9th, 2007 For immediate release JCC honored with award from National Council for Marketing & Public RelationsJackson Community College recently received a Bronze Award in the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations Paragon Awards competition. JCC’s marketing and communications office received a Bronze Award in the two-color brochure/flyer category for its Kids College brochure, designed to welcome young people to specially designed summer activities at the College. It was designed by Lisa Drake, graphic designer, with Dotty Karkheck, marketing director. The Paragons recognize outstanding achievement in communications at community, junior and technical colleges, and the contest is open to all colleges across the U.S. There were more than 1,000 entries in a variety of categories in this year’s competition. NCMPR is an affiliate council of the American Association of Community Colleges. |
