JCC LeTarte Center in Hillsdale to host ribbon-cutting ceremony
Jackson Community College’s Clyde LeTarte Center has a new look, new offerings and new opportunities for students! To celebrate the completed renovations, JCC will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, at the LeTarte Center, 3120 W. Carleton, Hillsdale.
The LeTarte Center has undergone major renovations over the summer months to upgrade facilities for students. The College has added a science lab, a laptop computer lab, remodeled the student lounge, installed wireless Internet capabilities throughout the building, added a café, improved office areas and more!
Community members are invited to join in this celebration with a short ceremony along with the ribbon-cutting, followed by tours of the building and refreshments until 7 p.m.
“We have improved and upgraded our facilities to better serve our students,” said Pene Vandenburgh, director of the LeTarte Center.
JCC’s Hillsdale center has been closed for construction over the summer but is currently open for student registration and will re-open for classes this Fall.
