Student Ambassadors sought for coming academic year

Jackson Community College students are invited to apply to be a Student Ambassador for the 2008-09 academic year.

Student Ambassadors serve as student leaders on campus and assist with campuswide events. Each one is assigned to a particular area on campus and serves as a student liaison/resource to their assigned area. Assignment possibilities include: athletics, Center for Student Success, Student Services, marketing, residence life and intramurals.

Student Ambassadors are campus employees who work up to 10 hours a week and are paid bi-weekly at the student employment starting rate. They must be at least a part-time JCC student and maintain a 2.0 grade point average.

Interested students should pick up an application from the Campus View Service Desk, complete and return it to Campus View by June 26. Interviews will be scheduled and decisions will be made on or about July 1.
