Paying for College
Financial Aid for College
Money may be available to help you through college. Apply early to ensure that your financial aid will be ready when you register.
Here are steps to take:
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. FAFSA on the web worksheets are available at any JCC location.
- Check your JCC e-mail for information from Financial Aid.
- Complete and return all forms requested by the Financial Aid office immediately. Your application will be processed only after all of your documents are received and reviewed.
- Go to e-Services to accept your Financial Aid awards.
- Ask about available scholarships and grants.
- Financial aid recipients must enroll in classes prior to the end of the add/drop period to receive their financial aid for the semester. Your aid will not apply to classes that you register for once the add/drop period is over.
