Softball team signs six for 2016

Jackson College signed six players to the 2016 women’s softball team recently during an early signing ceremony.

Future Jets softball players include:

  • Autumn Dickey, shortstop from Anthony Wayne High School, Toledo, Ohio;
  • Larissa Groves, pitcher from Mattawan High School, Mattawan;
  • Keleigh King, third baseman from Okemos High School, Okemos;
  • Savannah Sullivan, pitcher from Gaylord Saint Mary High School, Gaylord;
  • Kelsi Omey, center fielder from Northview High School, Sylvania, Ohio;
  • Savannah Young, second baseman and shortstop from Westfield High School, Westfield, Ind.

“I am very excited to welcome these new players to JC and our program,” said head coach Jeff Hankins. “These young ladies bring a lot to the game of softball, and in addition, strong leadership on the field. I look forward to working with them next year.”
