The MACRAO Agreement
MACRAO (Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers) refers to an agreement among two- and four-year Michigan colleges to ensure that a student who completes basic general education requirements at Jackson Community College, will have satisfied the same basic general education requirements at other participating Michigan schools. After you complete the coursework for MACRAO, and when you request your official transcript be sent to a college or university, also ask that your transcript be stamped: "MACRAO AGREEMENT SATISFIED." We do not automatically check all transcripts to see if the student met The MACRAO Agreement. You do not need to earn a degree to satisfy The MACRAO Agreement.
