General Information

Where will acts be held?

At the current time, acts are scheduled to be produced in one of our academic buildings. All are conveniently located within walking distance of the Potter Center where the main events and lunch will be held.

Our newest building, William Atkinson Hall will also be available for "acts" that require a computer lab, writing on walls or a varied type of room set up.

Other buildings such as Bert Walker, Whiting and/or McDivitt have rooms that the act director can move tables, have circular chair set ups as well as rooms that equipped for automatic power point set up.

What will we eat?

Aramark is the dinning service on campus and we will work with them to provide a buffet style meal for actors, directors and the like.

What will we get to remember this conference by?

At this time, it is planned that all participants will receive a t-shirt, a folder upon arrival with items for the conference (pen, writing paper, etc). The awards will be a fun type of "take home" Oscar - but will be known as the "Ressie" to those in attendance.

What if we come in early and stay late?

There are local hotels - there is a Holiday Inn (with an Indoor Pool and Putt Putt), Super 8, Baymont Inn and a few more... within 15 minutes of campus. Once we receive registrations, we will assist with locating a hotel and prices.

Depending upon the number of schools arriving on Friday - we will plan for entertainment and food on Friday evening and Sunday AM.

How will we contact the Conference coordinators at JCC?
