Script Information

Act Information (Educational Sessions)

We will accept program proposals in the following categories:

Rising Stars -

This track will be for first year RAs and we will ask for act directors to submit scripts geared towards developing as an RA, round tables on what it means to be an RA, balance, transition, boundaries, etc.

Behind the Scenes -

This track will seek act directors and script submissions relating to issues including residence life programs that showcase differences (of all types), environmental issues and social programming.

Supporting Actors -

This track will seek act directors and script submissions for those individuals in our department that aren't the traditional resident assistant. This track is looking for presentations for staff members such as desk assistants, multicultural assistants, tutors, etc. So it you have a great script for confrontation, theme housing, academic programs, customer service, maintenance reporting, safety/security and being a part of a community if you are not a resident... send it - on!

From the Directors -

Act directors and script submissions will be accepted in this track as it relates to becoming a star in the field of student affairs, higher education, residence life, etc.

In the Spotlight -

Act directors and script submissions for this track will consist of dealing with conflict, resolutions, roommate issues, safety concerns, mental health, service desk/desk assistant staff related shows and current events in residence life.

Encore -

Act directors and script submissions for Encore are those above and beyond, larger scale programs (large and small budgets welcome) and how to put it all off on your campus.

Act registrations may be submitted via fax, e-mail and/or postal mail
Must be receive by Wednesday, 9/17/08.
