Overview of Application Process for Education Students
Planning to Transfer to Selected Colleges and Universities

APPLICATION PROCESS: For education students, there are two admissions processes to your transfer school. The first application for admission usually goes to the Admissions Office and hopefully results in your being admitted to the college/university. The second admissions process is typically handled by the School or College of Education. This application hopefully results in your being admitted to the School of Education and/or the Teacher Certification Program. Each college/university has its own admissions process. These process frequently change.  Listed below are links to the information at the transfer universities which most JCC students transfer to. More detailed information is available in the catalog of the transfer university.
