It
is strongly recommended that student complete the MACRAO Agreement.
·
The MACRAO Agreement may be completed after initial EMU enrollment. Credit
for transfer courses completed after the first term of enrollment at EMU as a
degree-admitted student must be
direct equivalencies
to EMU general education courses in order to be applied to general education
credits.
·
EMU requires Learning Beyond the Classroom (LBC) credit. This is to be completed
at EMU and can be met either through EMU sanctioned activities (band, student
government, athletics) or classroom activities (service learning, internships).
·
Students must
first be admitted to EMU to be considered for admission to the College of
Business. However, admission to the University does not guarantee
admittance into the College of Business.
· To
qualify for admission, students must have successfully completed 56 hours (these
hours may include transfer credits) and have a cumulative EMU
grade point
of 2.5 (students must complete 12 hours at EMU to establish a GPA).
·
Students must
have successfully completed the BOLDED required courses indicated on this
guide with a grade of C- (C if the course is transferred) or better.
