·         This is only a guide.  Students should contact the transfer school for program advising.

·         Coursework with a grade of at least 2.0 will be transferable.

·         Students do not need to complete all the courses listed below before transferring.

·         Students should  transfer to WMU after the equivalent of one year at JCC so they can complete the prerequisite courses required for the program.

·         The Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) has elected to require a master’s degree for the practice of occupational therapy.  This change will take effect in 2007.  In response to this change, the WMU Occupational Therapy Department has developed a five-year program, which will lead to the completion of two degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Services and a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy.

A total of 128 credits is required for completion of the degree. A maximum of 62 credit hours required for completion of the degree at Western Michigan University may be transferred from JCC.
