a grade of at least 2.0 will be transferable.

Students do not
need to complete all the courses listed below before transferring.

Students should transfer to WMU after the equivalent of one year at JCC
so they can complete the prerequisite courses required for the program.
·
The
Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) has elected
to require a master’s degree for the practice of occupational therapy.
This change will take effect in 2007. In response to this change, the
WMU Occupational Therapy Department has developed a five-year program, which
will lead to the completion of two degrees: a Bachelor of Science in
Interdisciplinary Health Services and a Masters of Science in Occupational
Therapy.

A total of 128 credits
is required for completion of the degree. A maximum of 62 credit hours
required for completion of the degree at Western Michigan University may be
transferred from JCC.
