THR 145 required for major

 

It is the department policy to accept no more than 18 hours toward a non-teaching major, 12 hours toward a teaching major, and 9 hours toward a minor. Enrollment in a theatre curriculum is contingent upon admission to the University and approval of the Department of Theatre.  Department approval is based upon the student’s capabilities in theatre, as demonstrated by the audition or interview, upon academic abilities reflected in grade point average and various scholastic test scores as they are available and upon letters of recommendation.  Further information regarding admission to a theatre curriculum may be obtained by contacting the academic advisor in the Department of Theatre.

A total of 122 credits is required for completion of the degree. A maximum of 62 credit hours required for completion of the degree at Western Michigan University may be transferred from JCC.
