Transfer Information Apply for Financial AidSome schools request that you complete a financial aid application from their institution. Does the university where you are transferring? Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid - FAFSA. Request that a copy be sent to the school you are transferring to. Apply for all available scholarships including scholarships for transfer students and those available through departments. You must apply to the college or university before they will consider you for scholarships. If you are transferring mid-year, file a Financial Aid Transcript for each school you have attended. If you transfer in the fall, you do not need to do this. Submit your forms as early as possible because it takes several weeks to process them. Some schools award funds and scholarships on a first-come, first-served basis. Call the Office of Admissions at the receiving institution if you need help or have questions about financial aid or scholarships. |
