MICHIGAN COLLEGE OF OPTOMETRY
Pre-Optometry

Many colleges and universities offer a pre-optometry curriculum. Even if no such curriculum is available, one can create such a curriculum from the courses that are typically available. The Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University has a specific set of courses that are required of all applicants. By carefully following the provided course descriptions, one can be assured of satisfying all the necessary course requirements. Applicants to the Michigan College of Optometry are not required to have a Bachelor's degree to be considered for admission; however, 80 semester hours of completed course work are required prior to admission.
