  • It is strongly recommended that students complete the MACRAO Agreement while completing the general education courses recommended by Grand Valley State University.   

  • All Michigan Teacher Programs require students attain state-approved passing scores in reading, written English, and mathematics on the Michigan Test for Teacher Certification as determined by the Michigan Department of Education.  (Passing scores on these tests are mandated for all teacher education candidates seeking teacher certification.)  Consider taking this test in the second semester of your freshman year or the equivalent time if you are a part-time student.
