A CHECKLIST
Students planning to transfer to MSU should follow this checklist and NOT
MACRAO.
- When applying to MSU, GPAs will be recalculated including all courses, all attempts and all colleges.
- An "I" (incomplete) grade is the same as 0.0 – some "D" grades will transfer if overall GPA is at least 2.0.
- Currently, an overall GPA of 3.0 or above is expected for students wishing to transfer to MSU. Limited enrollment majors may have higher overall GPA requirements
- Students wanting to transfer to MSU should complete the Lower Level Integrative Studies courses (in other words, complete the required courses below).
- To be admitted to the University, all transfer students MUST have completed the mathematics, writing and U.S. History requirements prior to applying for admission.
- U.S. History course (see below) must be completed for the ENG 131, 132 to meet the writing requirement.
