· All Michigan Teacher Programs require students attain state-approved passing scores in reading, written English, and mathematics on the Michigan Test for Teacher Certification as determined by the Michigan Department of Education. (Passing scores on these tests are mandated for all teacher education candidates seeking teacher certification.) Consider taking this test in the second semester of your freshman year or the equivalent time if you are a part-time student. · This is a limited enrollment program.

Provisional Admissions to Teacher Education
*As stated in the CMU
catalog, BIO 229, Nature Studies, is a requirement and must be taken at CMU. A total of 124 credits is required for completion of the degree. A maximum of 62 credit hours required for completion of the degree at CMU may be transferred from JCC. This is only a guide.
