About the program...

The College of Pharmacy at Ferris State University is in the process of revising its curriculum. Part of this process involves a few changes in the pre-pharmacy coursework for those applying to pharmacy for the fall of 2009 (incoming freshmen of 2007).  Specifically, FSU is deleting Microbiology and Statistics, and adding at least 7 credits of Anatomy and Physiology with labs at the 200+ level.  Students should be careful to select the correct year of entry at FSU for program requirements.

The American Council on Pharmaceutical Education, the pharmacy accrediting agency, has mandated that only Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) programs will be accredited after the year 2004.

Ferris State University College of Pharmacy is accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education to offer the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) program.  The courses listed  are the ones that best meet the pre-pharmacy requirements for their program.  Similar or more advanced courses may be acceptable.  However, their acceptance should be determined in advanced.  Course evaluations for other programs within the University may vary.
