  • This is only a guide.  Students should contact the transfer school for program advising

  • Coursework with a grade of at least 2.0 will be transferable.

  • WSU is not a signator to The MACRAO Agreement

  • Students do not need to complete all the courses listed below before transferring. 

  • Some WSU General Education requirements may be satisfied through testing, high school course work, or advanced placement.  For General Education group requirements, each department may only be used once.  Contact the Wayne State University Testing and Evaluation Office, 698 Student Center Building, (313) 577-3400 about scheduling information for competency and proficiency examinations.

*English Proficiency Requirement: All students must demonstrate competence in written composition by passing the English proficiency examination which is taken at WSU.

Wayne State University will accept up to 64 semester credit hours of equivalent credit. Credits accepted for transfer must be for courses for which a course equivalence exists or which have been determined to be of a traditional academic nature. WSU is NOT a signatory of MACRAO. Courses with at least a 2.0 are accepted for transfer.
