  • The following Wayne State University General Education requirements must be completed before admission to the Mortuary Science program.  Students with a baccalaureate (BA, B.S., or Bsc) degree from an accredited college or university are exempt from WSU General Education requirements.  Some WSU General Education requirements may be satisfied through testing, high school course work, or advanced placement.  For General Education group requirements, each department may only be used once.  Contact the Wayne State University Testing and Evaluation Office, 698 Student Center Building, (313) 577-3400 about scheduling information for competency and proficiency examinations.  

  • WSU is NOT a signatory of MACRAO. 

  • Courses with at least a 2.0 are accepted for transfer. 

  • Only 64 semester credits from a two-year college will apply toward fulfilling graduation requirements.

  • Students do not need to complete all the courses listed below before transferring.
