Law Enforcement
Associate in Applied Science
Careers in law enforcement, including police officers and deputy sheriffs, are ever changing. As a police officer, you will help prevent crimes, investigate crimes and control traffic. Detectives and special agents gather facts and evidence for criminal cases. In Michigan, you must complete the Police Academy training to be eligible for employment as a police officer. In many cases, police agencies require a minimum of an associate degree for new employees
