College announces fall 2024 Reading Series

Jackson College is thrilled to announce the JC Reading Series for fall 2024, featuring original works by talented staff and faculty members. The event kicks off on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 3 p.m. in William Atkinson Hall, located near the campus library.
This month’s series will spotlight the following authors:
- David Hayes – Presenting an intriguing horror fiction tale,
- Christopher Mercier – Sharing a selection of his fictional works,
- Holly Taylor – Offering insights from her compelling non-fiction narratives.
Each reader will have 10-15 minutes to present their work, with introductions given by their chosen colleagues, adding a personal touch to the event.
This event is part of the College’s ongoing efforts to highlight the creative talents of its staff and faculty while providing an enriching cultural experience for the college community. The series aims to foster a vibrant literary environment where both the creators and the audience can connect and appreciate the art of writing.
All are welcome at this free event.
