Jenny Engle

• Originally from Findlay, Ohio, she graduated from Findlay High School. She relocated to Adrian, Michigan after high school when she married her husband, Jed.
• Fulfilling a promise she had made to herself and to set an example to her children, she decided to go back to college after having a family. She enrolled in the Jackson College – Siena Heights University accelerated business degree program available in Adrian in 2009. She graduated from Jackson College in 2011 and completed her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2012. She went on to complete a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Siena Heights University in 2015.
• Jenny greatly enjoyed the “cohort” aspect of her classes. With the accelerated degree program, students stay together throughout their courses, offering opportunity for connection, support and friendship.
• She began working in Development for SHU while finishing her degree. Spent two years as director of Alumni Relations for Siena Heights University.
• Went to work for the Lenawee Community Foundation as the Vice President of Development, leaving the post in 2018.
• Today she volunteers with several community groups, including the Adrian Public Schools, Boys and Girls Clubs of Lenawee, Goodwill Industries of Southeast Michigan, Promedica Bixby and Herrick Hospital Foundation and Hickman Cancer Center.
• Jenny is a 16-year breast cancer survivor. Her experience showed her the importance of pursuing her dreams and goals, because life is short.
• She helps to promote Siena Heights University’s women’s basketball Pink games to benefit breast cancer awareness and research, and she participates in Relay for Life.
• She coached Varsity gymnastics for 10 years at Adrian High School.
• In her spare time, she enjoys to bake and to golf.
• Member of St. Mary’s of Good Counsel Church in Adrian.
