College to host open auditions for theater production, ‘Sylvia’

  • Callbacks: Wednesday, Dec. 6, 5 – 7 p.m.

Jackson College will present the loving comedy Sylvia this spring, this story of a marriage, a dog, and many laughs.

Theatre Instructor Sara Anne Tomczak hosts an open casting call for all ages, genders and ethnicities; students, staff, faculty & community members are welcome. Audition will be Monday, Dec. 4 from 5-7, and callbacks Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 5-7 p.m. Students can gain credit for working on this production both on stage and behind the scenes. We are searching for actors as well as people interested in working behind the scenes (stage management, set design, costume design, lighting design, sound design, and more).
