Welcome to Con Con, a Science Fiction and Fact Convention.

The pandemic can’t stop CON CON!  Instead we tackle COVID head on with this year’s theme of Reanimation!

Through ZOOM, Kanopy, and other platforms, CON CON invites you to explore the theme of reanimation through an examination of the reanimated tissue, galactic life-cycles, the science of real-life zombies, and even zombie fungi. These events are free and open to the public. Mark your calendar to attend Jackson’s Con Con!

A ReAnimation Drive-In
Young Frankenstein

Thursday, July 29
Dusk (around 9 p.m.)

Come join the fun for the final event of the Concatenation Convention: ReAnimation as we sponsor a free showing of Young Frankenstein (1974, PG). The Mel Brooks classic is a hilarious send up of Universal monster movies and the Frankenstein story, in general. The showing starts at dusk on the west side of the Potter Center, and is free to the public. Be sure to bring a chair or blanket to be comfortable on the grassy hill. Simple snacks will be available, but feel free to bring your own! The rain-out date for this event is Friday, 30 July. For more information, contact Steve Tuckey at tuckeysteven@jccmi.edu.
