Easter Egg Hunt to move indoors Saturday

April 8, 2019

**Update:  Jackson College Easter Egg Hunt Rain Plan **

With rain in the forecast, Jackson College will move all Saturday Easter Egg Hunt activities indoors into Bert Walker Hall.

Please enter through the north side of Bert Walker Hall, (similar to the entry for the Halloween Spooktacular). Children may start at 10 a.m. and visit “stations” inside the Walker Hall Community Rooms to get Easter eggs, continuing until all eggs are gone. The Easter bunny will be there to visit and take photos with children, face painting will be available, and the petting zoo will bring baby animals. Event will run from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

There will be no outdoor bounce houses.

Hop out to Jackson College for the Sixth Annual Easter Egg Hunt, from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 20 on Central Campus.

The day gets started at 10 a.m. with fun family activities, with the egg hunt starting promptly at 10:30 a.m.  Children will again search in various age groups: 0-2, 3-5, 6-7, and 8-10. Please also enjoy face painting, inflatables, popcorn wagon and a petting farm exhibit with rabbits, lamb, baby ducks, goats and more. Parents are invited to take their children’s photo with the Easter bunny. Jackson College’s emergency medical services (EMS) simulator trailer will be open for guests.

Again this year, the hunt will feature more than 25,000 pre-stuffed eggs, purchased from a St. Louis, Mo. company that supports people with disabilities. Each egg will contain a sticker, toy or peanut-free candy. The age 0-2 area will have eggs that contain organic fruit chews, Smarties and orange slice candies.

Bring the family and join us for some Easter fun! Events will be held in the center of campus; free parking available anywhere on campus. In the event of inclement weather, please enter Bert Walker Hall; bags of eggs will be given and the Easter bunny, face painting and popcorn will be available. Please visit www.jccmi.edu/familyfun for more information.
