EV Collision Simulation Event

Due to the weather, today’s EV-Collision Lunch & Watch Party has moved to the Health Laboratory Center — Rooms 104 & 101. Lunch will be in HLC 113.

Jackson College and Henry Ford Health cordially invite you to an exclusive, interdisciplinary EV Collision Simulation Event. This exclusive event offers an immersive experience into a large-scale Electric Vehicle (EV) Collision Simulation, showcasing coordinated emergency response across multiple disciplines.

The program begins with a watch-party, lunch and networking session, where guests will view a professionally filmed EV simulation event. Following the watch party and lunch, attendees will observe students, faculty, and key partners collaborate in real time to demonstrate the continuum of care – from one-scene management to hospital stabilization.

Participants from fire, EMS, nursing, respiratory care, radiography, surgical technology, and emergency medicine will engage in this integrated response, highlighting the power of interdisciplinary collaboration in emergency preparedness and healthcare education.

As part of the AACC Building American Apprenticeships-EV Hub, Jackson College is leading the development of national EV safety and emergency response modules to prepare both current and future healthcare and public safety professionals.
