Our goal is to get you confident on the court and ready to play for fun or friendly competition! \nWho should attend: While more experienced players are welcome\, this class is designed for beginners who want to build a solid foundation. \n\nPlease wear appropriate clothing for working out.\nIf you have your own pickleball paddles\, feel free to bring them. DESCRIPTION:Join us for Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) with special guest Donald Walker from the Michigan STEM Network Region 2 team\, alongside the Jackson College team\, including Sonja from the Center for Innovation\, Ariel from the Center for Student Success\, and Jessie from IT\, for a discussion on how accessibility\, WCAG 2.1\, UDL\, websites\, documents\, syllabi\, digital systems\, and institutional communication all work together across higher education. \nDesigned for instructors and staff across all departments\, this session focuses on practical strategies and institutional readiness ahead of the April 26\, 2027\, accessibility expectations. This event\, sponsored by the Center for Innovation\, will take place during the CFI Third Thursday session. \nParticipants may register to attend or request event information if they are unable to attend the session.
